Hey everyone! We need your help in collecting 2,000 jars of Play-Doh, which will be donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Our friend Isabel, Vice Mayor of the City of Paramount is driving force of this important fundraiser. You probably know Isabel from The Bottle House at Knott’s Berry Farm. Her family business is LGH Ceramics, which not only operates inside of Knott’s, but at their main location in Paramount.

The Play-Doh drive was the idea of the founder of Share Hope USA. At the time, and only 11 years old, the non-profit was created by Symond Boschetto  with the goal of advancing the common good through the showing of kindness, compassion, and empathy to all. The organization’s focus is on homelessness, sick and injured kids, and educating youth about the importance giving back to their community.

Isabel met Symond while he and his father were visiting Knott’s Berry Farm! Symond has since moved to Portland, where a similar Play-Doh drive is executed. Isabel has taken over the Southern California drive.

This year’s drive was scheduled for May 1-31, 2022. The time frame has been extended to June 13, 2022 to allow for more donations and to reach the desired goal of 2,000 cans.

Your favorite theme park (Knott’s) vloggers have teamed up and are asking for YOUR help to reach the goal of 2,000 cans! Can we meet (or better yet BEAT) that number?

If you live in an around the City of Paramount, donations can be dropped off during business hours (please confirm first) at LGH Ceramics. Even easier (AND PREFFERED), order Play-Doh through an online retailer, such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, or Target and have the order sent directly to LGH Ceramics.
