This special event is located in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure Park.

This multicultural celebration is filled with happy wishes for health, luck and prosperity throughout the Year of the Tiger!

From January 21 to February 13, 2022, Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park ushers in a joyous tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean cultures.

Ring in the Year of the Tiger with Tigger and friends at the Paradise Gardens Gazebo! Tigger will be bouncing with delight to see you. Look for special appearances by Mulan and Mushu. Mickey and Minnie and the Three Little Pigs will also be visiting the festivities in their Lunar New Year finery.

Gather loved ones for cherished photo memories under our gorgeous pavilion bedecked with bamboo, peach blossoms, golden flowers and banners bearing hope-filled holiday wishes.

Under the forest canopy in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, you can encounter the heroic Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon, as she makes her Lunar New Year debut.

Don’t miss this bright and festive musical procession, honoring family, friendship and good wishes for a fortune-filled new year—from January 21 to February 13, 2022.

Ancient Artistry in Motion
Be captivated by the beauty, spirit and ancient artistry of Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession—traveling from Pixar Pier Gate to Paradise Gardens Obelisk and back.

Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession fills the street with exciting music, exquisite costumes and traditional dances by Asian performing troupes. Tigger joins the procession during the Year of the Tiger, while Mulan and Mushu arrive on a breathtaking float featuring traditional drummers.

Discover a magnificent Chinese dragon making its way along the route as umbrella and fan dancers perform their delicate dances. Guests of all ages will delight in this cultural and unifying experience of sights, sounds and colors that lift the heart.

The procession can be enjoyed multiple times throughout the day during the Lunar New Year celebration.

Honoring Tradition
Hear instruments that have charmed audiences of all ages for generations. From January 21 to February 13, 2022, Paradise Garden Bandstand will present daily performances to welcome the Year of the Tiger and attract good luck and prosperity for the new year.

Melody of China
Based in San Francisco, these professional musicians hail from some of China’s most prestigious conservatories. Their renowned fusion of Chinese folk, classical and contemporary instrumentals provides quality entertainment by bridging the gap between ancient customs and American youth.

Join this premiere trio as they captivate audiences with pitch-perfect music played on a traditional Chinese yangqin (dulcimer), pipa (lute) and erhu (fiddle). Encore!
