theFUNnelCakeBlog has spent Easter Sunday at Knott's for at least the last 20 years! Even during the closure, we visited the park for a stroll and/or to have brunch. My personal favorite experience at Knott's is the Sunrise Service held in the Wagon Camp. Hosted by the Orange County Southern Baptist Association, 2022 marks the 69th Annual Service! This will be the first time since 2019 that the sunrise service will be celebrated. Faith leaders from the organization take turns each year at the service.

The service ended shortly before 7am, and this gave us time to take an early morning walk around the exterior of the park, enjoying the beautiful landscape across the street near Independence Hall and Soak City, we stopped to say hello to our rooster and chicken friends along the way.

At 9am, we headed to our reservation for Sunday Champagne Brunch at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. As usual, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the omelet station did not disappoint.

After brunch, we headed into the park for a short visit and a stop in at the Bottle House to see Isabel and Nicole to paint a hand-made ceramic.
