Howl-o-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa is one of our favorite all-time Halloween events. We were excited to hear the event was being rolled out to Sea World San Diego this year! We visited opening weekend. Light crowds added to the eerie ambiance. An incredible stage show and fun, interactive scare zones added to the experience. SAN DIEGO – THE FEAR IS HERE

There’s a new terror in town, and it’s got a killer smile. For the first time ever, Howl-O-Scream has arrived to transform the peaceful SeaWorld San Diego park you once knew into something sinister. When night falls and a carnival of horrifying creatures surrounds you, just try to put on a happy face.

6 SCARE ZONES & 4 ROAMING HAUNTS

There are no safe zones. There are no places to hide. From graveyards to haunted toy shops, scares are everywhere — and Splatz the Clown and other roaming freaks and misfits await you at every turn. Stay alert and be prepared for anything, because you never know what’s waiting up ahead (or creeping up behind you) during SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream.

TERRIFYINGLY AWESOME PERFORMANCES

Even amid so much mayhem, the show must go on. Become maddened and mesmerized by a raucous, high-energy musical dance show. You’ll also find zombie DJs and party zones that are perfect for a dance break between frights.

THRILLING RIDES & COASTERS

Have you ever ridden Electric Eel, Manta, or Journey to Atlantis in the dark? It wouldn’t be a SeaWorld visit without a ride or two, but it wouldn’t be Howl-O-Scream without a dose of nighttime terror.
