Walk on top of the Mulholland Dam and snap a pic that your friends will be envious of! Complete the loop around the reservoir for a nice, flat, easy walk, or continue up a dirt trail to see Madonna's old house and finish with a visit to Lake Hollywood Park, for an even more incredible view! ***READ THE NOTES BELOW BEFORE VISITING***

Access the NORTH gate to the reservoir off Lake Hollywood Drive (Google does not provide an exact address for this entrance, but for reference - it is near the intersection of Lake Hollywood and Wonder View).
Ample FREE street parking on Lake Hollywood Drive near the gate!

Access the SOUTH gate at 6381-6399 Weidlake Drive, Los Angeles. Ample FREE parking at this location as well.

NOTE: Due to narrow roads, and limited parking at the South Gate/Trailhead, using the NORTH gate is recommended for those not used to the area.

NOTE: Do not leave valuables in your vehicle at either location. Do not leave items visible in your car. BOTH location are HIGH break-in areas. Seeing piles of broken car glass is not uncommon. Use caution and common sense.

NOTE: The gates to the Reservoir close at posted times. Enter with enough time to EXIT prior to the gates closing LADWP officials lock all gates exactly at the posted time. If you are locked in, you are subject to a fine and must wait to be let out. USE COMMON SENSE AND WATCH THE CLOCK!

NOTE: Pets are NOT allowed within the reservoir gates. This rule is STRICLY enforced.
