It was the end of an era in Northridge on December 30, 2023. Cupid's Hot Dogs has stood across from the busy Cal State Northridge campus on Lindley since 1964 under the same family ownership. That family was best friends with the Walsh family, the founder of the popular and long-standing San Fernando Valley chili dog chain, which has bewn cherished by locals since 1946. Despite the loss of this iconic location, fans can still get their chili dog cravings met at the Winnetka and Simi Valley locations, run by third generation sisters from the Walsh family!
