Come along as theFUNnelCakeBlog celebrates Cinco de Mayo at Castle Park in Riverside.
The park's celebration took place Friday, May 3 – Sunday, May 5. This threeday celebration featured special photoops with Duke, loteria, folkloric dancers and arts & crafts for the kids, plus live entertainment and new cocktails for adults. The first 200 guests each day received FREE maracas!
Big Top Burgers, BBQ & Beer had a special Cinco de Mayo taco plate; two carne asada, chicken or barbacoa tacos, rice and beans, plus your choice of four kinds of Agua; Jamaica, Horchata, Pina or Cucumber Lime. Those over 21 could try the Agua Loca, Frozen Margarita or Beer.
For dessert, they had the Churro Funnel Cake; a warm sugar and cinnamon topped funnel cake, with a cold vanilla ice cream scoop and caramel drizzle.
The event will return in 2024. Purchase a season pass to enjoy this event, along with other seasonal celebrations, including Dia de Los Muertos, Castle Dark, and Duke's Very Merry Village.
