Just minutes from both Knott's and Disneyland on Beach Blvd., sits a small theme park that offers BIG fun for the little one! Welcome to Adventure City!
Geared for the younger members of your family, the 2-acre park features 11 rides (including two roller coasters), a petting farm, arcade, and a handful of other interactive attractions. After a 13-month closure, the park reopened on Friday, April 16.
Themed around transportation and modeled after a real city (complete with police station, airport, train station, town square carousel, and more), Adventure City's spotless midways and attractions will delight children and their grownups.
theFUNnelCakeBlog's favorite ride at Adventure City is a roller coaster that allows you to go forward and backwards. At 40’ tall, Rewind Racers is North America’s first forward and reversing family shuttle coaster.
Your family will be all smiles as they race to the finish line and the checkered flag! Kids and adults can board the Adventure City Express for a full-circle tour of the park. While waiting to board, listen to conductor announcements over the loud speaker and Chattanooga-Choo-Choo playing in the background. This train, built by Bud Hurblut (Knott's Log Ride and Mine Ride) dates back to 1938.
Guaranteed to bring back childhood memories, adults can share the tradition and excitement of carousel riding with their kids from picking that perfect horse to enjoying its turn-of-the-century carousel music. This vintage 1946, 20-horse carousel has the distinctive honor of being the centerpiece of Adventure City.
